Abstract :
A low noise, frequency stabilized, semiconductor based, 10.287 GHz actively mode-locked laser is reported with optical linewidth <1 kHz, optical frequency instability of ~150 kHz and integrated timing jitter (1 Hz-100 MHz) of 3fs.
