  • Abstract
    In this paper an optoelectronic XOR gate based on light amplifying optical switch (LAOS) was modeled by SPICE. The equivalent circuit used to implement this gate consists of only one LAOS and four HPTs. The input and output of the circuit are all optical. The model was used to demonstrate the functionality of such gate. This model can be used to improve and study the physical factors that affect such gate.
