Abstract :
In this paper, a numerical procedure called asymptotic periodic waveform evaluation (APWE) for finding periodic steady state (PSS) solution of nonlinear circuits driven by one tone periodic signal is presented. The principle of APWE is to construct a new system which is asymptotically equivalent (AE) to the original system but with shorter transient duration. The PSS response can then be obtained by performing transient analysis on the AE system. In order to improve the convergence rate of PSS response, an iterative scheme based on Fourier series extrapolation technique is proposed. A numerical example is illustrated
