Abstract
One of the important tasks in designing analog circuits is to select the most appropriate circuit topology from available knowledge base. The purpose of this paper is to develop a new tool for electronic circuit topology selection based on a neural network. The main advantages of this approach are: the system requires less designer´s experience and it is capable of automatic incorporation of a new circuit topology into the system with little modification. Some circuit topology selection examples are shown
