Abstract :
The development and testing of the working media sources based on different physical principles of operation are described. The physiochemical and thermodynamic properties of the materials used as active elements are discussed. Sources based on controllable heat pipes, the caesium-graphite system, the caesium-alkali-metal systems, and caesium compounds are reviewed
