Abstract :
Research in the field of audio watermarking is very important in the current digital world. With growing access to digital media, ownership rights are very critical. We propose an algorithm for watermarking of digital audio content using spread spectrum and singular value decomposition for copyright protection. It is desired to find an optimal balance between the inaudibility of the watermark and its robustness while embedding and extracting the watermark. To make such a scheme applicable, a significant requirement is the robustness of the scheme to a broad category of intentional & unintentional attacks while keeping in mind the important constraints like inaudibility, security, and reliability.
