Abstract :
New dynamic markers (DM) techniques can move and spatially fix magnetically marked objects reversibly and uniquely. DM fields are independent from material constants and it can therefore be developed: magnetic field driven targeted drug delivery, detection and counting the subpopulation of cells applicable in different media. They cause macroscopic reactions by jamming microscopically into magnetic crystal lattices (beads). Thus, new diagnostic and therapeutic applications can be developed: transfection of cells in culture, destruction of thromboses, removal of atherosclerotic plaques from the arterial interior, implanted nano-scaled pumps and ventiles supplied from extracorporal energy sources.
