Abstract :
In the field of image data compression, some resolution conversion methods using DCT have been studied. We discuss one of these methods, which can be executed by 8 points inversed DCT, and extend it. The proposed method using 8 points inversed DCT can perform the image resolution conversion with arbitrary rational values and select the quality of produced images, although the conventional method can not do this
