Abstract :
The EDICT Tool Suite is a model based engineering platform that provides a means for establishing unified views of system organization and behavior by integrating architectural and analytical models of systems and their architectures. EDICT captures architectural representations, accommodating a variety of languages, including the Architecture Analysis and Description Language (AADL), Unified Modeling Language (UML) and SIMULINK. EDICT also provides a flexible set of extensions that support the integration of additional modeling and analysis tools that are aspect-specific (dependability, safety, security, etc.). Each of these extensions works seamlessly with each other, ensuring that models supplied by each contribute to a consistent design view of the overall system.
