Abstract
This paper describes the gear-shift schedules for the Automated Mechanical Transmission(AMT) utilized in the parallel hybrid vehicle, which is equipped with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). The effects of the battery´s state of charge (SOC) and ISG´s performance on the gear shift schedules have been investigated. Both the power gear-shift, schedule in which the ISG provides the peak torque all the time as the auxiliary power source and the economical gear-shift schedule in which the energy consumption by the ISG is equivalent to the fuel consumption, are simulated in the Matlab/Simulink. Road test´s results proved the effectiveness of gear-shift schedules.
