  • Abstract
    Dynamic Programming (DP) algorithm is used to find the optimal trajectories under Beijing cycle for the power management of synergic electric system which composed of batteries and super capacitors. Feasible rules are derived from analyzing the optimal trajectories, and it is shown that the highest contribution of Synergic Electric System (SES) to the HEV and the methods of how to get the best performance of it. Using the new Rule-based power management strategy adopted from the optimal results, it is easy to demonstrate the effectiveness of new strategies in further improving the fuel economy of the synergic hybrid system.
