Abstract :
12.4-Gb/s NRZ to RZ format conversion is performed using a frequency-doubling optoelectronic oscillator that requires only 6.2-GHz devices. The system is applicable for multichannel operation and NRZ to carrier-suppressed RZ (CSRZ) format conversion.
