Abstract
Since the housing reform in 1988, with the rapid development of the real estate in China major cities, the fluctuations of housing price becomes an important issue which makes a great impact on the national welfare and the people´s livelihood, even the social conflicts. It affects not only the housing, but also the related industries. In the final analysis, price change in housing depends on housing supply and demand. This paper at first reviews some domestic scholars´ points that the high housing price will continue or at least not fall. Then through the views of supply and demand, in analyzes the causes of price fluctuations and the major conflicts affecting price, thus puts forward the views that the housing price is possible to fall.
