  • Abstract
    The complexities of construction project make project planning and control difficult and System Dynamics (SD) methodology brings an effective way to improve scientificity of project planning and effectiveness of project control. The complexities of construction project are analyzed from the view of SD after the connotation of SD is elaborated. The development principles of construction project SD model are described from the aspects of model boundary, basic model structure and variables equations, then rework loops and control loops involved in construction project are identified. At last, the applications of project SD model in project planning and control are discussed.
