Abstract :
The feasibility of combined UWB sensing by a photonic-ADC and bidirectional UWB radio-over-fiber transmission in dispersion compensating fiber is demonstrated experimentally in this paper. This approach enables cognitive access optimizing the radio-over-fiber user capacity.
