  • Abstract
    An adaptive channel estimation method in 802. 16 e system, based on Doppler shift estimation, is proposed. The coherence time can be gotten through Doppler shift estimation. Then the time domain channel impulse response (CIR) gotten by least squares (LS) algorithm can be refined according to the correlation duration the coherence time. The simulation results in the frequency band of 2.4 GHz show that the proposed method achieves a good bit error rate (BER) performance according to the speed variance of the vehicles.
