Abstract :
The public concern about the potential adverse health effects of the human exposure to the electromagnetic radiation of base stations antennas has grown in the recent years. The increasing number of cellular telephony subscribers has led to an expansion of networks, with the installation of more base stations. This investigation aimed to provide information for the distribution of electromagnetic field power density created from antenna in the residential area in the Lithuania. We carried out measurements in different places: outdoors on the ground; outdoors in balcony; indoors 1.5 m close to windows, indoors, not close to the windows; indoors without the windows. The results are discussed and presented in charts. The measured values were well below the maximum permissible exposure levels in the adopted HN 80:2011 in our country.
