Abstract
A large-signal analysis of the direct energy transfer power system is performed to predict the main bus dynamics in various modes of operation. Stability criteria for the operating points on the solar-array I -V curve are identified in each mode. The large-signal trajectories of the system´s operating point for a complete orbit cycle are analyzed, employing a qualitative graphical representation. The analyses are verified through computer simulation. The results of the analysis are presented and discussed in great detail
