The management of oil filled switchgear-an industrial user´s view

This paper describes the steps taken to manage the problem of older oil filled switchgear within a large industrial organisation. It details the initial effects on the business´ various operations, how appropriate solutions were identified, work programs prioritised and how progress of the individual action plans has been monitored across a large number of sites. The problems encountered and experiences gained are discussed
