Abstract :
This paper presents advanced feedback control schemes for utilities with the specific challenge of handling highly varying loads while following the NERC standards and using available sensory systems on the power grid and providing better control of electric power generation in the face of system uncertainties, major load variations, and time varying effects of plants. Simulation results using actual load data and system operating conditions are presented. Implementation scheme of the resulting feedback control system in a generation facility is described
