Abstract :
This paper analyzes the tracking performance of a delay lock loop (DLL) using chip waveform shaped code on direct sequence/spread spectrum (DS/SS) systems in multipath environments. In this paper, chip waveform shaping (CWS) filters consider a rectangular (RECT) filter and a raised cosine (RC) filter. It is assumed that a tracking scheme for code synchronization in a DS/SS system uses a single delta DLL (Delta-DLL). Here, Delta means the spacing between early and late correlation values.
