Abstract :
This paper takes GovHK for example and makes an empirical study on the improvement that Web 2.0 brings to government website´s ease of use. It focuses on two typical applications of Web 2.0: one is RSS, the other is Tag. It builds some models to compare the effects before and after implementing Web 2.0 in government website, then makes quantitative analyses through information distance theory and comes to a conclusion that the implementation of Web 2.0 has significantly improved the government website´s ease of use. And the deficiencies of this research are also discussed at the end of the paper.
