Abstract :
A new type active FSS absorber which contains a conducting back-plane has been investigated. The reactive layer of the FSS absorber is perfect conductor. Lumped-element devices are loaded on the periodic units. Resonant frequency of the absorber depending on the lumped-element´ resistance could shift in a specified frequency band.The bandwidth of the absorber with reflection loss below -20 dB can cover from 6 GHz to 12 GHz.
