Abstract :
The paper revisits both the non-robust and the robust asymptotic tracking linear time-invariant problem with loop stability for lumped-parameter systems as well as for an important class of distributed-parameter systems. The problem is studied from the input-output viewpoint and in the Laplace transform setup, so that an internal model of the signal to be tracked appears in the compensator in most of the problems
