Abstract :
The paper presents a five-region nonlinear scaling algorithm to solve the scaling distortion when aspect ratio of target image is different from aspect ratio of source image. Based on the region points set by users, it can adjust scaling factor automatically to make horizontal scaling ratio keep the same vertical scaling ratio in the middle region and different in other regions. Simulation results demonstrate that the scene in middle is not distorted, and the scenes in the other areas are stretched gradually and perfectly.
