Abstract :
This paper presents a linear robust control strategy: the third generation CRONE control. Based on the complex non-integer derivation, it generalizes the first two approaches based on the non-integer derivation. So, the classic vertical template which characterized the open loop frequency response plotted in the Nichols plane is replaced with a straight line segment of indifferent direction: the generalized template. Then, a quadratic criterion is defined to select an optimal template. As an illustration example, an optimal template is determined for a plant subject to great structured parametric variations
