Abstract :
Accreditation processes in Engineering in Argentina made evident that management and performance of learning processes should be enforced to achieve standards. Teaching of Fundamentals of Computer Science is part of every Engineering Career but, even at the international level, it had been proved that it is almost impossible to satisfy those standard goals, being the origin of numerous research papers. It had been established that its difficulty resides in a lack of comprehension of scientific conceptual maps because of erroneous mental models, but results based on these ideas are not definitive, at most are only partial diagnostics. This research permits conclude that it is necessary to complement the comprehension of students mental models with a concrete motivation based don virtual and actual robots.
