Abstract

The paper refers to the field assessment activities necessary for the construction works of transport routes for the easy oil fractions from the vapour space of 3 gasoline storage tanks, considering the case when the tanks are filled as well as those necessary for the construction works of transport routes for the collecting of the gasolineoline vapors generated when loading the tank cars. For this paper, field measurements and on site research regarding the layout of the vapor recovery system were conducted, at the ROM OIL - ARAD fuel warehouse, thus gathering the data necessary for the assessment of the resistance to flow on the transport routes of the air-hydrocarbon vapors mixtures, both from the storage tanks as well as from the loading rack, to the vapor recovery unit.
