Abstract :
In this paper, the problem of controllability synthesis for compartmental networks is dealt with, in which a given network topology needs to be controllabilized by a leader, with optional arc weights in the network between the leader and each follower vertex. It is proved that a single leader is always sufficient to controllabilize any given network, with proper communication links from the leader to the followers.
