Abstract :
Since the reform and opening up, China´s economic rapid development. Energy, transportation, communications and other infrastructure buildings have an urgent requirement, but it is difficult to rely on government finance to meet the demand, so we must broaden the investment and financing channels, and BOT model is one of the best. As a foreign investment and private capital to build infrastructure and innovative financing model, BOT model has brought more opportunities for the project contractor company, simultaneously, also has brought a bigger risk. This paper discusses the main risk in the BOT model, and through an overseas construction project case studies a description of these risks, provides the basis for the formulation of project risk management decisions.
