Abstract :
This paper discusses the direct buried systems in the Hudson Generation station in NJ, Extensive tunnel installations of a SF6/N2 GIL in Geneva and development test installations for direct buried SF6/N2 GIL designs. The following examples show other applications: connections in power plants, line or transformer connections in gas insulated substation, and tunnel Laid GIL.
