Abstract :
A few of the nonlinear inductor models that have been suggested for use in the SPICE code are reviewed. Each model has its own limitations, but they are all shown to provide a good representation of the device in the applications for which they were tested. An improved saturation-dependent model that incorporates additional features for enhanced accuracy is described. The model has been implemented in SPICE and in a commercial circuit program and has been demonstrated to be satisfactory in both cases
