Abstract :
This paper deals with the important topic of development process improvement in cloud computing, specifically on Software as a Services (SAAS) cloud model and presents enhanced CMMI level-2 processes for Requirements Engineering of SAAS. The paper evolves by considering the CMMI modification by adding a new element in such a process, specifically devoted to SAAS. The paper also presents a detailed description of CMMI compliance processes for requirements management of SaaS including the newly added sub process and its key activities. We tried to validate the findings by mapping the described processes and activities on a case study project named as Allwebid. Using the proposed processes, SaaS services with high quality can be effectively developed.
