Abstract :
Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) can pro-active, real-time, detect automatically and analyze all kinds of data for finding intrusion behavior. This paper introduces the structure of snort and NTOP, and proposes a new design idea of combining Snort with NTOP, and this idea is validated by experiment. The experiment result proves that intrusion behavior can be detected by this system.
