Abstract :
The TSC (thermally stimulated current) technique has been applied to the characterization of molecular interfaces in various tissues. In the rat tail tandon, the role of the interface between collagen and noncollageneous proteins is to plasticize the intramolecular mobility; there is no phase segregation. In a demineralized organic matrix, an additional relaxation peak is observed, which may be explained by the existence of segregated interphase collagen-proteins
