            Abstract : 
In this paper, we report on the first demonstration of a two-section /spl Delta//spl beta/-switch in Z-cut LiNbO/sub 3/ with uniform electrodes, compatible to a single microwave source, where one of the sections is domain-inverted. The application of domain inversion to the DC allowed us to implement a device scheme with relaxed fabrication tolerances which is suitable for high-speed operation.
