Abstract :
Along with the extensive application of the database, data mining technology is facing the problem to deal with enormous heterogeneous data. In addition, that technicians are not familiar with the background knowledge of application areas often leads to data mining cannot be successfully implemented. To solve these problems, a kind of ontology-assisted data mining technology is proposed in this paper. Through using the technology to introduce the general domain knowledge into each steps of data mining, the defects in traditional data mining systems can be corrected and the efficiency of data mining can be improved dramatically. In the end, a test is performed by adopting this kind of technology in the Network Accelerator Customer Relationship Management System (Yeemu_CRM) of Beijing YEEMU Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd and the results testify the value of this technique.
