Abstract :
The authors simplify the mathematical relation existing between the far-zone electric field and the element currents of a typical spherical array. This would prove important in designing spherical arrays. In order to demonstrate the method described in a system identification, a 31-element array of conducting coaxial loops lying on a sphere of radius 24.25 /spl lambda/ carrying /spl phi/´ directed current was considered.<>
