Abstract :
A way of simulating a matched load termination is introduced which involves the enforcement of current expansion coefficients when subdomain basis functions are used for the expansion of the current distribution. This approach has been applied to several microstrip structures. The simulation of a matched load termination by the enforcement of current expansion coefficients is found to be an efficient way to extract S-parameters from the current distribution solutions of integral equations. For the microstrip structures investigated using this approach, the simulated results compare very well with the measured ones.<>
