Abstract :
In this paper, a simple infinite-dimensional system (time-delayed twin-pn junction diode electromagnetic system) is developed. Based on Poincaré mapping, complex behavior stimulated by a given nonlinear boundary condition in an infinite-dimensional electromagnetic system with distortionless transmission line is investigated. It is found from numerical results that the spatial high-periodic behavior and chaos exist in the infinite-dimensional electromagnetic system and this spatiotemporal oscillation is nonisotropic with respect to space and time.
