Abstract :
Nowadays knowledge production of KIBS (Knowledge Intensive Business Services) has been successfully implemented in foreign countries, while domestic research in this field has not yet been carried out, and to some extent, this has hampered the knowledge innovation of KIBS in China. This paper proposed the concept of knowledge production of KIBS, then compared research content of IE with research content of knowledge production of KIBS, analyzed three aspects of knowledge production of KIBS based on IE methodology: organized knowledge system, operation process control, project management. At last, proposed the research field of knowledge production of KIBS, which tried to broaden the research field of industrial engineering.
