Abstract :
This paper analyzes the vertical search technology, and presents a vertical search system for course materials. This search system is based on Lucene project and deploying Google AJAX Search API to achieve effective searching path. The implementation of this system deploys Struts architecture JSP tools. System running results show that the search system works properly. The analysis of search ability shows that the recall and precision rate are better.
