Abstract :
Service Oriented Computing models can be effectively utilized to provide seamless support to applications and users alike within pervasive computing environments. The presence of services over the network makes it possible for them to be advertised, discovered and utilized in a dynamic manner. In this paper we proposed a service composition algorithm as a mechanism to provide transparent support to user tasks in service oriented computing environments. Services graphs contain the semantic and syntactic details of each service. Similarly, the tasks that users want to accomplish are also modeled as directed, attributed graphs. The graph based representation of services are combined together into an composition that maintains the collective information about all the services available. The user tasks that require service support are resolved based on the available composition by performing a path search in the composition results in a composition of multiple services that achieve support for the requested task.
