Abstract
An oblate spheroidal antenna with linearly polarized excitation is analyzed numerically, and its radiation patterns are examined. The beamwidth of the E-plane radiation pattern becomes wider as the antenna height is increased. The integral equation method can be easily applied to the case of circularly polarized excitation.<>
