Summary of panel session on: FTR/CRR allocation/auction strategies and methodologies: A Market Participant perspective

The purpose of this paper is to exchange the views of the panel and discuss the most appropriate approaches and perspectives on the various aspects of the evaluation and procurement of the financial transmission rights (FTRs) and congestion revenue rights (CRRs) from a market participant perspective. The focus of the panel will be on the strategies and methodologies various market participants can follow to successfully participate in the FTR/CRR markets. Various market participants will be represented in the panel, including, utilities, munis, generators and traders.
