Abstract
This paper presents a digital control pulse generator. It is used in the clock duty cycle adjustment circuit (DCS), part of pipelined ADC. The circuit uses the integrator and the comparator circuit combination. Digital input will be converted to the corresponding pulse length of time for the DCS control loop. This circuit uses a special structure of comparator, thus simplifying the circuit structure, saving chip area. Simulation results show that in the range of a given input, the circuit can generate a voltage pulse by parameter control. Circuit simulation use Chart0.18um Technology.
