  • Abstract
A new biogas reforming catalytic-processing system for the conversion of gaseous hydrocarbons such as biomass based gases to hydrogen and carbon oxide mixtures is described and analyzed. The exit synthesis gas is used to power effectively high temperature fuel cells such as SOFC types. This paper also focuses on the description and design aspects of permreactors (permeable reformers) carrying the same type of reforming reactions. Objectives of this research include turnkey system and process development for the power generation and fuel cell industries. Also the efficient utilization of bio- and waste type resources for green-type/renewable power generation with increased processing capacity, and efficiency. Simultaneously, pollution reduction is under additional design consideration in the described catalytic processors-fuel cell systems.
