  • Abstract
    S-turn maneuvers absorb up to 3-minutes delay, severe symmetric sturn maneuvers absorb up to 7-minutes. Quantities of s-turn maneuvers correlated strongly with arrival demand, significant controller workload implications. S-turns do not seem to impact airport runway throughput.
