Abstract :
We propose a 3-phase data transmission architecture for globally asynchronous data transmission to reduce noise. We employ low frequency model and high frequency model, respectively, to estimate return current in substrate, magnetic field, electric field and radiation from wires. We compare the proposed architecture with the conventional 2-phase data transmission architecture, and show reduction of return current in substrate to 1/10000 ∼ 85%, reduction of magnetic field to 13% ∼ 85%, reduction of electric field to 22% ∼ 86%, reduction of radiation to 1/10000 ∼ 26%.
