Abstract :
In the process of satellite positioning measurement, channel´s multipath causes error of positioning. Researches show that multipath will have no effect on positioning accuracy when delays are more than 1 chip away from line of sight signal. A method proposed to extract estimation of multipath delay which is lower than 1 chip, attenuation and phase from the code generator data, local oscillator data and received signal data provided by ordinary loop locked receiver. The method has a robust characteristic under low carrier to noise ratio environment. And also simulation results are provided. Using known pseudo-random-code auto-correlation function, estimation of multipath delay can be further precisely searched. The simulation shows that in most cases the accuracy is within the sampling interval of the known pseudo-random-code auto-correlation function.
